To us, a reservation is a promise — we promise that your reservation will be honored. We do not overbook. We guarantee that your reservation will be available to you on your eco-tour. We will not sell them to someone else under any circumstances, as long as you hold your reservation. For this reason, we may have to turn away guests, and potential revenue, if we cannot fit them on the particular tour on which you've reserved space. Once we accept a reservation, therefore, we must enforce the following policies:
is required 72 hours in advance of your tour to receive a full refund. Cancellations received less than 72 hours of your tour need to be re-scheduled to avoid a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total charge. Cancellation less than 2 hours prior to tour, no shows or cancellations at the start of tour will be charged the full fee.
It is your responsibility to be at the designated tour location on the correct date. It is recommended you check in at least fifteen-minutes before the tour. Please check your confirmation carefully. No refund for no-shows.
For most tours there will be no charge for changes made 72 hours prior to the tour date. Call Segway Costa Rica, S.A. Telephone: 506-2446-3989 or fax us at 506-2232-7218 to confirm any changes.
Due to the nature of operating in the wilderness and remote areas, Segway Costa Rica reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure. Charges for cancellation do not apply to tours cancelled by Segway Costa Rica due to weather.
There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early. There are no refunds available for 'No Show' reservations. Being late, not at departure point, or meeting point, or if you miss the eco-tour completely this is also considered a no show and there will be no refund.
Late arrivals will not be refunded or issued vouchers and will not be able to join the group. Please call if you have a change of plans. Spaces are limited and guests are being turned away for your spots.
Segway Costa Rica cannot be held responsible for any loss incurred on account of non-refundable air tickets, extra expenses due to travel delays, or flight cancellation.
Segway Costa Rica is in no way obligated to complete a tour if one or more participants is found to be endangering the safety of themselves, others or the environment. Refunds or vouchers will not be given in this situation.
We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled tour sometimes with very little notice due to an act of nature such as lightning, thunder, heavy rains or high winds, We will fully refund affecting customers, although our tour department will make every effort to maintain the normal operation. If we cancel the tour, guests will be refunded or issued a voucher for a later date.
Tour requires a minimum number of two participants to avoid cancellation.

As such we endeavor to follow our cancellation policies carefully, however we will always do our best to accommodate our clients' circumstances.
